Self-manufactured components

Liebherr has many decades of experience in developing, designing and manufacturing engines, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic rams and splitter boxes. Slewing and travel gear elements, large anti-friction bearings, rope winches, electronic components, electric motors and switchgear cabinets are also manufactured in-house.

Today, Liebherr's many products are not the only ones to benefit from these components' high quality standards. Clients from other companies also appreciate the performance and reliability of Liebherr components and install them, for example, in wind power plant, concrete pumps and air-craft tugs.

Competence centres for the development and manufacture of these components are run by Liebherr in Bulle (engines, hydraulics and drive technology), Biberach (roller slewing connections and drive technology), Kirchdorf (hydraulics) and Lindau (electronics).

From 28 to 30 November 2012, Liebherr will be presenting products for the wind power industry at Wind Power India in Chennai.
