Reman Program

The Liebherr Reman Program marries environmental awareness with economy. In 2004, we started remanufacturing used components from our own construction, handling, maritime and mining equipment, plus those from mobile cranes to industrial standards at the Ettlingen plant.

State-of-the-art test benches ensure the same quality standard as original new parts. Depending on the budget, machine residual value and possible downtime, there are three coordinated remanufacturing levels available: an exchange component, an overhaul and a repair. The savings of both energy and material compared to manufacturing a new part are passed on to the customer. In this way, the Liebherr Reman Program reduces impact on both the environment and the purse.

The Reman Program currently covers the following Liebherr components:

  • Diesel engines
  • Travel and swivelling drives
  • Splitter boxes
  • Hydraulic pumps and motors
  • Hydraulic cylinders
  • Axles (DANA)
  • Rope winches
